Peter Mallory is a longtime resident of New Smyrna Beach. He earned master's and bachelor's degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Mass. He serves on the board of trustees at Daytona State College and is a former commissioner of the New Smyrna Beach Utilities Commission. A wing at Bert Fish Medical Center is named for Mallory's late wife, Jacqueline Mallory.
