Jeanette G. Griswold, age 74, of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday, April 9, 2010 at Florida Hospital DeLand. No local services are planned.
Born in Rochester, New York, Mrs. Griswold, a homemaker, came to this area in 1979 from Honeoye, New York. A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed taking care of her family, gardening and her flowers, and cooking. Mrs. Griswold was a great animal lover, and enjoyed fishing and shrimping.
Survivors include 3 children, Ronald Griswold of Perry, New York, David Griswold of New Smyrna Beach, and Darlene Cratsley of Midland, North Carolina; a brother, Warren Voisey of Rochester, New York; a sister, Joan Beich of Wainesburg, Virginia; 6 grandchildren, Angelica, Amy, Andrew, Matt, Mark, and Bethany; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Griswold was preceded in death by her husband, Irving in 2008 and son, Thomas in 1980.
