Spring Break tame and lame

VolusiaNews.net / Special Events 2011

VolusiaNews.net and NSBNews.net provide Volusia County with 24 / 7 Internet newspaper coverage for a 21st-century world.

Exclusive video by multimedia editor Sera Frederick / The only real semblance of Spring Break and Black College Reunion Friday night on the final weekend of the annual events was limited to the east Seabreeze Boulevard with Razzle's dance club and the Oyster Pub the only real draws. The video includes an arrest in progress for a young man who refused to leave Razzle's after he was told to leave because he was being disorderly, police said, adding he was taken into custody without incident.

DAYTONA BEACH – This was not your parents' Spring Break when MTV rocked the beach and hotels were trashed.

Spring Break and BCR are shadows of themselves, which are good in terms of peace and quiet, yet no so good in helping the local economy because tourism is the name of the game.
