Beekeeper to speak at New Smyrna Beach Library on Saturday

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Local beekeeper Marlin Athearn will discuss beekeeping, honey cultivation, and the importance of healthy bees for our food supply at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway.

 

Athearn is a member of the Florida Master Beekeeper Program offered through the University of Florida extension service. The library is open from 1 - 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, please call 386-424-2910, ext. 111.
