Tea Party genteel compared to other group

Occupy Wall Street protestors a rowdy bunch
Grade: D-
As patriotic Americans gathered at rallies across the country during 2009, 2010 and well into 2011, not one ticket was issued to any Tea Party gathering. They applied and paid for permits and complied with all local requirements. No one was arrested.
Occupy Wall Street, according to Breitbart.com, has a record 403 incidents as of this date. These events are listed at http://biggovernment.com/jjmnolte/2011/10/28/occupywallstreet-the-rap-sheet-so-far/ and include, but are not limited to rape, violence, abusive language/signs, drugs, etc. The occupiers have their numbers wrong: 99% of Americans do not agree with them. Insider Trading Bill introduced: A We poor peons rely on our brokers, investment counselors, the internet, a hot tip -- whatever -- to determine how to invest what’s left of our precious dollars.
Congress simply uses insider info to place their bets and come out winners every time. But, “Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-NY, has been introducing her bill to ban insider trading by lawmakers since 2006. Before the 60 Minutes story, there were nine sponsors; now there are 118, and the House Financial Services Committee has schedule a hearing Dec. 6.
Love ya, baby! Obama admin pushes for “gay rights” overseas
Grade: C-
“The struggle to end discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons is a global challenge, and one that is central to the United States commitment to promoting human rights,” said a Dec. 6 White House memorandum for agency heads. We are in the biggest meltdown of our economic history, Iran is ramping up its nuclear program, the EU is collapsing and Obama wants to spend time on gay rights and take a 17-day vacation.
What? The trashing of Herman Cain
Grade: F
We do live in interesting times. It took the media just a few months to dig up 15-year old transgressions and a questionable “friendship” to destroy Herman Cain’s presidential aspirations. As proof that the double standard is alive and well, it took the mainstream media over a year to report on John Edwards’ affair and “love child” conceived while his wife was dying of cancer.
Everyone has past transgressions they regret or even “feet of clay.” However, I’m not interviewing for a husband. I want a president with experience, vision and proven leadership. Obama may be the most faithful spouse in history but he has proven himself to be nothing more than an emperor with no clothes. I’d still back Herman Cain.
Reagan saves two lives
Grade: A
A hero dog picked up a Meow Mix bag in the middle of a dusty country road, whined and cried until his owner opened the bag. Inside were several abandoned kittens; only two survived. “Whether them being dumped out was an act of cruelty or desperation we will never know, but we want people to know there's better ways. Our slogan here (at the Des Moines Raccoon Valley Animal Sanctuary) is that we’re living proof there is a way. These guys are testament to it.” It’s the time of year for an extra dose of kindness and compassion. Be like Reagan. Act without fear.
Peter Mallory wins blogging award
Grade: A+
Kudos to NSBNews.net blogger Peter Mallory on his showing in the 2011 Florida Press Club Awards. He took home an award for "blog writing" making NSBNews.net the first truly online newspaper in the Sunshine State to win a prestigious award. Of course, his colleague, Henry Frederick, has won many journalism awards for investigative reporting and breaking news in his distinguished career, but Mallory beat him online. Mallory and Frederick are co-founders and publishers of NSBNews.net and Frederick is the day-to-day editor and administrator.
