Outstanding male athlete: NSBHS quarterback John Brisbois
Headline Surfer / Recognition
NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- The Cudas football squad showed a lot of heart during the 2011-'12 season led by quarterback Josh Brisbois -- a young team with as many as 20 starters coming back next season.
Though they didn't make the playoffs, the Cudas gave the Cudas faithful some exciting games with Brisbois taking most of the snaps under center. He also did his share of punting as well. For these reasons, Josh Brisbois is Headline Surfer's "Male Athlete of the Year."
